then i washed it
but i ruined it
had white spots here and there after the wash
think dettol acted as bleaching agent
so
inspired by project runway
i decided to 'save' this top
and dyed it black
wahahahaha
yeah...i like it now...
look at the before and aftere pics!
looks like this before i dyed it....
woohoo...it's alive again!
i cannot stand my mum.
maybe something's wrong with me
i dun seem to be able to speak to her properly (although i keep telling myself to 'not talk to her like that')
even if it's just something trivial, i start using that irritated tone
oh ya did i mention she likes to throw things away
many times perfectly good things
it's not as if that thing is falling into pieces, or is at the end of it's useful life
today she got rid of the 3 seater sofa (it has a broken leg, but still works as a sofa), the old washing machine (hmm it is quite wonky) and 2 mattresses (nothing wrong with those i think)
these things she got some guy from downstairs to move them away (i think she gave it to the guy)
well what i see is someone throwing away money, in the business sense, she's throwing away assets that could be liquidated
and somehow it pisses me off
i dun agree to her 'if-it's-in-the-way-get-rid-of-it' theory
she throws/gives away a lot of things just because it's taking up space
AND THE FREAKING THING IS---THERE IS SPACE!!!we have LOTS of space!
i heard my sis comment on how empty the house is already
she said something like it's already so empty you can hear your own echo
but then today new sofas and stuff are coming
that's why they getting rid of so many things
ayia but that's not the point, i'm still pissed at the liquidating assets part
oh guess what, now-at this very moment she's getting rid of the big piece of glass
actually i should not get myself bothered with such things
makes me angry for nothing
it's their stuff, their house, their decisions
i tried to not start raising my voice today
just started muttering shit to myself
and was left with that-throbbing-at-the-back-of-ur-head headache
argh.
argh.
argh.
"dun do this to urself jac, it's bad for ur health
really not good
okay as long as they dun touch my stuff, i shouldn't be bothered right
YA DUN TOUCH MY STUFF
TOUCH/GIVE/THROW away anything without my permission and be prepared for hell "
-what's going through my mind right now-
one thought that's making me grin now
my parents chose this sofa (without even informing us abt it)
if my mum starts to complain about the sofa....
like what she has been doing to the old sofa
well, you chose it
you go complain to yourself in your bloody dreams
ho hum.
dunno why...really really dunno why but i like her leh
hmm...wonder who's gonna go next...
anyways
yea project runway!
that cool show
why did i only start watching it so late?
went on a 1 day trip to johor
let's see, dad drove all the way up to batu pahat 1st,
before slowly driving back south while making stops here and there on the way
stopped by ayer hitam, also stopped by some bicycle shop by the road, mum bought 4kgs of rambutans from one of those roadside table-shops
think now is the season for rambutans and durains
can see lots of rambutans on trees
and every time my mum sees one of those trees, she keeps repeating the same thing..that she wants to go down there and pluck some off....and we did see quite a few of those rambutan trees....-_-
oh ya, everytime i visit malaysia
it's always so HOT there
dunno why but it's so much hotter there (besides the mountains lah)
the sun just bakes you...
dinner at city square...anyone wanna go there some day?
the price of the movie tickets(heard it's pretty cheap ard S$3+ ?) quite tempting eh
the McFlurry is about S$1.70...
only thing is they have this no-toilet-paper policy in their toilets
and you still have to pay to get in?!?! why why why
haha....wadever...hahaha
still an interesting trip
have a look at the pics below...
this is actually a bicycle shop and it's just beside the road. the uncle there also selling durains...i think 1kg for RM 1.50, freaking cheap right...but we din get any. my mum bought a bicycle pump and also stole some pandan leaves there which she said were 'wild'.
saw these kittys in batu pahat, dunno but i think they need a bath....and whoever that has left them inside this cage forgot the water tray! how can right?...argh...
this i find very interesting... a street sign as tall as a primary 4 kid?!?!
some alley in batu pahat. see the difference right and left?
okay here's something you don't see often. this is an 'abandoned' shophouse (well judging from the gigantic tree 'sprouting' from the roof) in batu pahat (further up north of ayer hitam..i think). maybe it's not visible from this pic, but the roots have actually grown through the shophouse, and you can see roots dangling from the 2nd floor
took this pic in ayer hitam i think...store concept? just stack it all up, the more the better...lol.. and that place has the most baskets, rattan pieces and ribbons i've ever seen in ONE place...
where can you find all these fruits? -my house of course...scary eh? LOL!
wahaha, it was interesting working there
a bunch of nice people in my department
learnt a lot
even if it's little things here and there
i'm now an expert paper 'ripper' a.k.a the human paper shredder
and i'm also better in my MS excel! lol
hmm...i got them some pick n mix chocolates
and some tealight holders with their names
they got me 2 tops from U2 and wuldn't let me go until i tried it
they even had to 'escort' me to the toilet oO
anyways...where is the photocopy shop in whitesands when i need it!
they're having lots of upgrading works in whitesands now
and i dun think there's a machine in the library
and because of that, i hafta photocopy my stuff at the shop in the basement
their paper quality sucks!
need to laminate a few things too
oh ya...is the standard price for laminating (A4) now $2??
quite expensive right?
the last time i laminated something only costs about $1.50...
oh ya funny thing...
there are these survey people hanging outside whitesands
yesterday one of them approached me AGAIN....
my 1st sentence was " sorry i'm running late for my class"
blah blah....but then that guy still continued talking
they were getting people to invest in some fixed-deposit-alike thing for Prudential
the funny thing is i REFUSED to give my number, really refused
hahaha...and i kept giving loads of excuses on 'why i should not give my number'
than i think he give up liao (when i'm determined, i'm DETERMINED!)
and offered to give his number
ayia wad to do, i really am going to be late for my class
i had already stood there close to 5 minutes already
okay, now for my nyaa writeup...
