awfully crowded
kids under the age of 10 reaaally should not be allowed near orchard road at christmas eve

u can hear the 'ssssiiisss' sound everywhere
ppl started spraying the foam 'snow' at everyone(at least those suspicious looking ones holding a spray can)

so my friends and I got us some of those cans and started

imagine foam covered peeps all ard
there were loads of pissed off folks too...:Z
i think this is the only time in singapore where u can act like an ass on the streets and get away with it
but those stuff in the cans...hmm...not really healthy
makes you wanna choke
and some assholes like to aim at ppl's face
obviously they did not read the can...

this is another 'strange phenomenon' in singapore
not sure if this happens in other countries...i doubt it...hahahha
anyways i found this really erm...amusing...
okie...
i only knew of such a practice when i was doing my attachment thingy earlier this year
during lunchtime working adults practice this tissue-paper-chopping-seats-technique
for those who are wondering, wad's 'chopping'? chopping also means 'reserving'!
yea...they use packets of tissue paper(paper napkins) to reserve seats in the food court, the food centre...everywhere!
so during lunchtime u can see empty tables and seats, with packets of tissue paper on the seats
i heard from my friend that they also had this encounter but knew of it the 'hard way'
they went down to the food centre for lunch and saw this empty seats with tissue paper on it
and of cos they assumed someone forgot their packet of tissue paper
so they just occupied those seats
and then
someone came back to the table and like scolded them for taking their seats
hmm?
we students never heard of such a practice...until then...
now i wonder...
if anyone ever tried to 'chop' their seats with their namecard....

oh yes...took this a long time ago...you can only find this in singapore...4 signs pointing the same direction, 4 different schools...all at one road junction!

from the common beetle and tiny flying insects to the not so common bats, gigantic moths and birds
they've been here
just the other day, a really pretty bird got itself stuck in our house
freaked me out while i was making myself dinner
and what did i do?
the usual...i ran for it of course!
hahahah......
the same thing i did when a bat flew in the last time
it's funny that i'm actually scared of this bird...it's so beautiful
cos i love animals
i love observing them
i guess the years in this urban environment is to blame
i think i'd rather have it in open air...not flapping ard the low ceiling
but unlike the bat...which was able to find it's way out in seconds
this poor thing apparently lost it's way
it kept flying into a painting on the wall
guess it thought that was the way out
long story short
it landed up in the kitchen
and found itself a really cosy area
right in the frying pan
fried erm... bird anyone?
not to worry....the pan's not hot or anything...
it looked so awww-my-hell-that's-so-cute
that my sis took a pic of it(actually many pics)
my dinner was ruined of cos
but hell...it was nice having an unexpected guest in the house
....observing it from afar that is....
lol!
